Impressive place. Glad they kept history intact and worked it into their decor. Elevator available to access second floor. Beer variety was great! Wine and cocktails on the menu also. Burgers were tasty. We didn't order anything else but observed other diners enjoying their appetizers. Place was busy and packed from when I arrived at 4:30pm until I departed at 6:30pm. Staff was great. The only critique I have is to provide hostesses with a better ability to track tables and improve communication. I'm ok with auto service but I don't agree with it being taxed. Additional TV's also. Amenities include games and fire pit outside. Will definitely be back!

As a newcomer to Vero Beach and a long-time craft brewery enthusiast, I was thrilled to check out American Icon Brewery. Situated in a repurposed 1930s diesel power plant, this place is dripping with history and charm. One of the original diesel engines is still prominently displayed on the first floor behind the bar, adding to the spot's prohibition-era vibe. The ambiance alone makes it worth a visit! We tried a flight of six beers, and every single one was excellent. Each brew had its own unique flavor, but the vanilla spice beer was a standout--it's an absolute must-try! For food, we went with the pub wings and street corn nachos. Both were fantastic, but I especially recommend the Thai pepper and garlic-parm sauces for the wings--absolutely delicious and indulgent! The menu is loaded with tempting options, and the quality of everything we tried was top-notch. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to again and again. Whether you're a local or just passing through, American Icon Brewery is a gem you won't want to miss!
It has been almost a year since my last visit and I would give our visit two thumbs up. Our server, Dennis, was awesome and made our grandson's first birthday extra memorable. Beer selection is extensive and excellent. We always enjoy sitting outside with a laid back atmosphere and plenty of seating. Apps were great: pretzel and the nachos (which were a very large portion). Cowboy burger was good, but definitely lacking a bit in flavor. My son's kid's pizza was scarfed down and given full approval along with my grandson devouring the Mac and cheese; decent portions and very yummy. We will be back.
Very good. Local brewery that serves up some pretty good brews that has a wide variety of options. Food is always good and service is kind. Burgers and Salads are my go to choices, however, no complaints from anyone on their meals. Located next to the railroad tracks which i think is pretty cool. Fun environment with indoor/outdoor seating. Pets are allowed on the outside patio which is a bonus. Enjoy :)
